Formed in 2016 to serve federal customers CONUS, CITES has grown quickly into a best practices leader for the modern federal enterprise. The Cloud Engineer III– Senior will work on the Army’s Enterprise Identity Credential and Access Management (E-ICAM) effort and provide the government with engineer and technical advice on cloud operations and migrations. They will be instrumental in implementing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles in accordance with the DoD Zero Trust Strategy. Responsibilities Provide technical guidance on cloud migration strategies, methodologies, and tools for government agencies. Develop and execute cloud migration roadmaps, identifying key milestones that need to be hit for the government to meet its mission. Advise on cloud architecture best practices for optimizing performance, security, and cost-effectiveness in a government setting. Deliver technical training and support to government IT teams, fostering cloud expertise within the organization. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and third-party providers to ensure solutions meet government requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree OR High school diploma or GED equivalent with an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering 10+ years of relevant work experience Active or Interim Secret clearance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity Works well individually or in a group setting Ability to work under pressure and time constraints Familiarity with Identity, Credential, and Access Management Principles Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)Principles Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud automation tools.
