itle: Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid, Alpharetta, GA - Avelon Blvd - 3 days onsite
Duration: 6 Months - Highly convertible job to perm
The Salesforce Business Analyst role is a vital part of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop expertise in the functionality and operation of Salesforce and its critical integrations
Assist business SMEs with requirements definition and write business requirements documents
Work with business SMEs to gain understanding of current business needs and priorities
Create process, workflow and data diagrams
Document new and existing features and applications
Troubleshoot problems and document solutions
Identify business users for UAT testing and assist in the development of test scenarios, test execution and test results validation
Create and update Epics, Features and User Stories using Agile methodologies through Azure DevOps
Clearly document requirements and convert to user stories that the Technical Lead can digest and assign to developers
Provide regular and timely updates and resolution to business users and management
Learn how to identify and analyze data discrepancies and data quality issues
Learn how to use SQL to query database for testing and analysis
Ensure business requirements issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
Provide timely and accurate updates to senior management
Other duties as assigned by Direct Line Manager
Attend and may lead support meetings for collaboration, reviews and updates, documenting action items and lessons learned, and providing Salesforce representation for decisions and needed activities
Alert team of high priority issues occurring in production
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Advanced proficiency in computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
Proficiency in Salesforce or another CRM considered a plus but not necessary
Experience in developing business requirements documentation
Ability to work alone but also collaborate across groups functions in a fast-paced setting
2-5 years of experience as a data and/or business analyst understanding business requirements for data working with users and IT staff
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business workflows and system data flows
Understands insurance operational process in relation to applications and systems functionality is preferred
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience with SQL/BI/data reporting tools is a plus
Able and willing to handle multiple competing tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
