The City of Falls Church Sheriff’s Office is recruiting for a full-time, Deputy Sheriff with Virginia DCJS certification. This Deputy will perform court security, prisoner transportation, civil process and law enforcement functions in a busy small agency and jurisdiction environment.
The City is an independent city (2.2 square miles, 15,000 population) six miles from the nation's capital situated between the large urban counties of Arlington and Fairfax with its own court, clerk system and sheriff’s office. The City is known for its urban village community, quality customer service, nationally ranked school system and community activities.

This is a full-time position, typically scheduled Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Required over-time for special events and other circumstances including specialized details.
Salary and Benefits :
The starting salary for qualified Deputy Sheriffs is $68,000 to $79,000 annually and is subject to increases depending on experience and qualifications.
