Job Description Job Objective: The Digital Content Manager will play an integral role by assisting the Director of Marketing manage The Salvation Army digital brand and various websites throughout the KWM Division.
Essential Functions: - Daily management of digital content on websites for The Salvation Army, KWM Division
- Write, shoot, edit, proofread, and publish digital content to support marketing goals for the Division
- Produce video content as needed or assigned
- Assist with development of a strategic plan for website fundraising and brand-building
- Offer strategic and creative input on all digital and social media communications efforts
- Train internal clients to manage local websites and continuously improve local presence on website
- Create a monthly web report including: digital tracking, conversion activity, traffic volume, engagement trends, search optimization, and recommendations and analysis based on best practices
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Post-secondary degree in: Communications, Journalism, Film, TV or Media Production preferred
Experience:
- Minimum three years' experience writing, publishing, content creation, production or website content
- Experience producer of content for media
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
- Design experience preferred
- Tracking and reporting engagement trends, conversion activity and optimization, providing analysis and best practice/industry standard recommendations a plus

Skills/Abilities: - Demonstrated command of the latest video production techniques, editing and lighting
- Ability to update, and maintain organization of website
- Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS and Java Script
- Knowledgeable in SEO, Google Analytics preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set and deliver upon realistic timelines, work as a team and with autonomy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented

Physical Requirements: include sitting; climbing and/or balancing; stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching, crouching and/or crawling; standing; walking; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; use of vision; driving a vehicle; pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying 25-40 pounds; traveling by airplane; both outdoor and indoor navigation of settings, and standing and/or walking up to 12 hours per day. Travel: Occasional travel up to 1 week/month
Driving: Driving is required. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Working Conditions: Daily work is performed in a typical office environment with some location days for production; may require some weekend and evening work. Event work may include hotels, indoor/outdoor venues, Corps Community Centers, and other public venues.
