We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients/residents.
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care and support to patients/residents under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or nurse managers. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
*Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers and according to established protocols.
*Monitor patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff.
*Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, to promote their comfort and well-being.
*Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures as needed to support patients' recovery and healing.
*Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
*Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide information, support, and assistance as needed.
*Collaborate with registered nurses (RNs) and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients/residents.
*Participate in educational and training programs to enhance nursing knowledge, skills, and competencies.
*Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations related to nursing practice, patient care, and safety.
Qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program.
Current LPN licensure in the state of PA.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
