Job Description

As a Production Coordinator, you will assist the Planning department with the day-to-day execution of scheduling and planning to ensure efficient operations and optimal inventory levels. By collaborating with various departments, you will play a critical role in meeting customer expectations, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining high-quality standards. Your contribution will be key to fostering strong customer relationships by ensuring reliable and smooth production processes. Organizational Development: . Foster stronger communication and collaboration between production, planning, and other departments to improve workflow, streamline processes, and meet organizational goals more efficiently. Aim to create a more unified approach to production scheduling and inventory management. Interface effectively with other functions to maximize success and increase expertise across the entire organization (Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Technology, Finance and Production). Key Responsibilities: Deliver a site OT&C (On-Time and Complete) rate of > 93% to ensure customer satisfaction by consistently meeting delivery deadlines and fulfilling customer orders accurately and completed. Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources, timely completion of orders, and alignment with customer demand. Adjust schedules as needed based on production delays, equipment issues, or changes in demand, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Provide timely responses to customer service and bidding teams to ensure effective communication with customers, addressing inquiries and updates promptly to support accurate quotes, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. Communicate regularly with the operational team to provide updates on production schedules, material availability, and any potential issues or delays, ensuring all teams are aligned and informed to maintain smooth operations. Monitor and manage raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory levels to ensure they meet production requirements without excess or shortage. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to forecast inventory needs and maintain stock levels to support continuous production. Use historical data, trends, and customer input to anticipate production needs and adjust schedules to meet customer expectations. Prepare and analyze production reports, including progress against schedules, inventory levels, and production efficiency Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. Required Qualifications: Education: Associate or bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations or related field Experience : Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing with prior planning and scheduling experience is preferred. Customer-Focused: Ability to understand customer requirements and ensure quality processes are aligned with their expectations. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure consistent quality and compliance across all production processes. Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt quality processes to meet changing customer demands and production requirements. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with essential expertise in Excel), ERP systems, and scheduling software, to effectively manage and analyze production data and schedules.
