DESCRIPTION:Duties: Design and validate the product from a user experience and product design discipline perspective. Document the specifications to build products from a User Interface, Interaction Design, Component Design, API mapping, and ADA compliance perspective. Align with partners in the product, development, and content disciplines to prioritize the appropriate artifact deliverables to advance roadmaps. Innovate new product features, components, patterns, and iconography to continue iterating our product for continuous improvement via alignment to NPS (CX) feedback and business objectives and key results (OKRs). Present design solutions to various stakeholders to gain an alignment and shared vision of the end state goal. Supply artifacts to impacted marketing partners so that campaigns can be executed on the products behalf. Parse latest reports, data, and trends to iterate on current product.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as User Experience Designer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience Designer or related occupation.Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Executing digital design fundamentals and best practices for products; Personas; Competitive Audit; Qualitative Surveys; Heuristic Analysis; Metric Analysis; Usability Testing; Value Proposition; Generative Ideation; Card Sorting; Stakeholder Interviews; Wireframe creation of low and high fidelity based on position in our double diamond process; Storyboards and Narrative Design; Use Case Scenarios; A/B Experimentation; Accessibility Analysis; Base Building Blocks; Component Library; Theming at scale; Mood-boards; Ad-Unit and Editorial Asset Support; Focus Group; Branding Support and Execution; Working with 3rd party stakeholders; Product and Feature Roadmap (emphasis on design perspective); Design lead product strategy; Articulation ideas and planning; Visual Q/A with a focus on fluency with inspectors for the problem and solution.Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310.
